I thought about discarding this image, but then I thought about the guy in the while shirt on the front row. Wouldn't he want me to put this image in the gallery? An AZ Billiards poster (JG-in-KY) wrote that he was, "99% sure the guy in between the two guys with hats in the front row is Frank Fisher. He is wearing the striped shirt with his eyes closed in the one photo. Frank was a fine player and even made some cues at one time. Last I heard he resided in Johnson City, Tennessee."

BillPorter > Bill Stigall on the left and Joey Spaeth just to Bill's left. Joey was a very strong player from Cincinnati, OH. The guy in the tie -is Floyd Baxter according to JG-in-KY from AZ Billiards.

Buddy isn't trying to use the 5 ball as a cue ball, he is probably planning a stop shot on the five and looking at his six ball shot if the cue ball replaces the five ball.

The reason that the spectators aren't looking at the "action" in this photo and several others is that I was using a flash for these shots and none of them are actual action shots during matches.

BillPorter > Butch Baker, a strong Cincinnati player, sitting in the front row, far left. Frank and Geraldine Titcomb just to Butch's left. (Thanks to Grady Mathews for identifying Frank and Geraldine.) That is Tommy Carrelli just to Geraldine's left. Pinocchio from AZ Billiards and I think that may be Truman Hogue in the blue shirt, top center of image.

BillPorter > Jerry Thompson - a guy I knew from the Northern Kentucky area. Played pretty sporty! Deceased.

BillPorter > Jimmy Mataya seated, holding a cue. I believe that is the late Paulie Campbell standing with cue in the center of the photo.
